Development and application of advanced analytical methodologies based on mass spectrometry for the structural characterization of secondary metabolites belonging to different classes in studies on chemical and biological features of fresh and processed food products and medicinal plants aimed at the formulation of functional foods as well as the recover of bioactive molecules from agro-industrial by-products and waste.
