Research Interest and expertise in the field of nutraceuticals and functional food
Behavioral analysis of mouse strains, models of human neuromuscular diseases such as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS, SOD1G93A low and high-copy transgenic mouse strains) and Mytonic Distrophy (DM1, DMSXL strain). Study of motor and non-motor function, emotional and cognitive aspects of mouse behavior using automated tools, home cage monitoring and direct ethological observation, with particular regard to gender differences. At the moment I don't have expertise in the field of nutraceuticals.
