Nutraceuticals and foods of interestI have no a direct experience in the field of nutraceuticals and functional foods but since one year we engaged a collaboration with INRIM (To) for the development of antimicrobial packaging, doped with antimicrobial nano structured inorganic/hybrid phases packaging Fields of application nanostructured antimicrobial / photocatalytic phases/coating, hybrid mesoporous material/adsorbent matrices for capturing inorganic and organic pollutants/inorganic nano-carrier of active ingredient in cosmoceutical Facilities and equipments sol gel chemistry / colloidal processes finalised to design hybrid/composite materials suitable for making packaging/coating. Particle size distribution and surface charge by DLS/ELS, morphological characterisation by SEM-FEG and environmental SEM, UV-VIS, FT-IR, HPLC, XRD spectrometry. |
