Nutraceuticals and foods of interestI’m studying cellular and molecular aspects of Coeliac disease, an autoimmune enteropathy triggered and sustained by the ingestion of gluten in genetically susceptible subjects. I’m exploring new cell-free therapeutic strategies, based on the immunomodulatory effects of extracellular vesicles obtained from bone marrow-derived mesenchimal stem cells (MSC-EVs). I’m studying the ability of MSC-EVs to inhibit gliadin-specific CD4+T cells activation and to promote the expansion of regulatory T cells stem cells therapy for inflammatory diseases caused by food Fields of application Therapeutic strategies based on extracellular vescicles (EV) obtained from bone marrow-derived mesenchimal stem cells (MSC) Facilities and equipments Flow Cytometry, Real Time PCR, molecular and cellular equipment, ELISA reader |
