My research activity is focused on :investigation of the biosynthetic pathways leading to plant specialized metabolites production, including their regulation; Study of molecular mechanisms and regulatory networks underlying plant-environmental interactions; Selection and characterization of genotypes with higher nutritional commercial, nutraceutical value, Biotechnological approaches for quality improvement of agro-industrial crops.
